MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The position requires 18 months of CT experience, ARRT/ASRT certification, licensure where required, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• ARRT CT certification or ASRT CT certification.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans with proper immobilization and protection.
• Set controls, monitor equipment and patient, adjust as needed.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, IVs and contrast if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images.
• Schedule procedures and perform clerical duties related to CT orders.
• Charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care with a patient-focused approach.
