Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification with registration, and BLS. 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, travel employment with a 13-week duration.

Start date 10/19/2026; compensation includes a tax-free stipend and shift-based pay. The CT Tech will work with the imaging team to perform procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain records, with opportunities for continuing

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in CT imaging is required.
• ARRT CT certification with active registration (or state licensing where required).
• BLS certification is required; additional certifications may be requested.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and review imaging requests; explain procedures and provide reassurance.
• Interpret doctors' orders accurately and follow physician instructions.
• Position patients for CT scans and monitor during procedures.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as indicated to enhance image quality.
• Assess CT images for technical quality and safety; maintain patient records.
• Familiarity with the McKesson PACS system and radiation safety procedures.
