Job summary

Supplemental Health Care seeks a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Tallahassee, FL. The position runs for 13 weeks with 40 hours per week and a 10-hour night shift, offering a competitive weekly pay of $1,660–$1,832. Experience in CT imaging is preferred; ARRT CT certification is a plus, and ARRT general Radiography certification is required. BLS is required, ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
