Qualifications

• Requires ARRT certification in Radiography (R); CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years radiologic technologist experience; CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure radiation safety and protect patients.
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality.
