Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Rockford, Illinois. This 13-week contract offers 40 hours per week with night shifts and potential extension.

Required are ARRT certification (Radiography), CT preferred, an associate or bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, active state license, and 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience. BLS is required, ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; CT imaging experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Using CT equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment and ensuring patient safety
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensuring radiation protection practices and patient comfort
• Evaluating CT scans for technical quality
