Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Rockford, Illinois. This role offers 40 hours per week on day shifts, with potential extension based on performance and hospital needs.

You will operate CT imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with the radiology team. Requirements include ARRT certification and an accredited radiologic technology degree; BLS required.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program (AAS or BS) required.
• ARRT radiography (R) certification required; CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license, if applicable.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• 1-2 years of radiologic technologist experience; CT imaging experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using CT imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort, including radiation protection.
• Evaluating CT scans for image quality.
