Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The role supports a partnering hospital, offering 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift with potential extension.

Requirements include ARRT certification, active radiologic license, and 1–2 years of radiology experience with CT imaging. BLS is required, ACLS preferred. Travel compensation ranges weekly, with benefits managed by SHC.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT CT certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
