Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This contract is 13 weeks with a 36-hour workweek and 12-hour night shifts at a partnering hospital.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification (CT preferred), an active radiologic license where applicable, and BLS (ACLS preferred). The role offers weekly pay between $1,386 and $1,534 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (CT certification preferred).
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.

Education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology

ARRT certification (Radiography)

Active state radiologic technologist license

BLS certification

1–2 years Radiologic Technologist experience
