Job summary

Cross Country Allied seeks a travel CT Technologist for a Bakersfield, CA assignment. The CT Technologist will perform imaging procedures, prepare patients, operate CT equipment, and ensure safety protocols. The role involves night shifts, weekend coverage, and a 40-hour work week in a travel setting.

The position requires ARRt CT and Radiologic Technologist certifications, a California Radiologic Technologist license, and BLS. Travel housing and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Certification by the State of California, Department of Health Services, as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Completion of a CT training program (one year) or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS card.
• Knowledge of CT techniques, operation and care of CT equipment.
• Anatomy knowledge; ability to work independently within guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures effectively with/without direct supervision.
• Prepare patients for scans and position them for accurate results.
• Operate CT equipment and monitor safety protocols.
• Assist radiologists or physicians as needed.
