Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Bakersfield, CA. The CT Tech will operate CT equipment, prepare and care for patients, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images for physician review.

Requirements include 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification with registration, BLS, and state licensing as applicable. Typical shifts are 10 hours, nights, with 40 hours per week and travel benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year CT experience.
• ARRT CT certification with registration.
• State-specific licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and capture diagnostic CT images.
• Verify patient identity and review imaging requests.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure image quality.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Maintain patient records and adhere to safety protocols.
• Utilize McKesson PACS system for image transmission.
