Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Falls Church, Virginia. The position offers 40 hours per week with 10‑hour night shifts over a 13‑week duration.

The ideal candidate has 18 months of CT experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and licensure in most states. Responsibilities include CT imaging, patient positioning, and assisting radiologists to provide quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech
• must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
• Most states require licensure
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
• Setting controls of the CT equipment and monitoring the patient
• Assisting radiologist with imaging procedures and injections
• Evaluating CT scans for technical quality and labeling
• Scheduling patients and assisting with clerical tasks
• Loading and operating power injections for contrast media
• Delivering quality, patient‑centered care
• Promoting a safe work environment
