MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Lynchburg, Virginia.

The role involves operating CT equipment, ensuring image quality, and supporting radiology procedures on a 12-hour night shift, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week contract. Eighteen months’ CT experience and ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification are required; licensure may be required by state law. Travel benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans and ensure proper immobilization and protection.
• Set controls and monitor equipment and patient, make necessary adjustments.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and IVs, and inject contrast if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast for CT scans and assist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate scans for technical quality and label/process images correctly.
• Schedule patients and assist with clerical tasks; charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
