Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Henrico, Virginia. The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, and work with radiologists to obtain diagnostic images on a 36-hour weekly schedule with night shifts.

Required qualifications include one year of CT experience, valid radiology licensure, and current BLS. ARRT certification is preferred, with additional licenses possible depending on facility requirements.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CT Technologist experience.
• Valid Radiology license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Set technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Follow radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment as needed.
• Document imaging details in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians for timely service.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other CT Tech duties as assigned.
