Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a CT Technologist for a short-term travel assignment at a Level III trauma center in Connecticut. You will perform CT imaging across outpatient, ED, and ICU settings, with emphasis on trauma and cardiac protocols, using GE and Siemens equipment.

The ideal candidate has 1.5+ years hospital CT experience, ARRT CT and R certifications, BLS, and the ability to float between sites in CT and RI. Eligibility for CT/RI licenses if applicable is required.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years hospital CT experience required
• ARRT CT and ARRT R certification required
• BLS certification required
• CT and RI state licenses required if applicable
• Experience with GE and Siemens CT equipment required
• Experience with image display and post-processing (3D rendering, MPR, ROI) preferred
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, chest CT studies
• Coronary CTA, vascular CTA, and cardiac calcium scoring experience preferred
• Contrast media preparation and administration experience
• Starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture preferred
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Level I/II trauma experience preferred
• 1 professional reference required

Responsibilities

• Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds, Yale New Haven Health System
• Night shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Call and weekend coverage required
• Uses GE Optima CT660 and other GE/Siemens equipment
• Float between two hospital locations in CT and RI
• Charting performed in Epic
• Free parking on site
• CT imaging across outpatient, ED, and ICU including trauma and pediatric cases
• Flu vaccine required without declinations
• COVID vaccine and booster required with limited exemptions
• Candidates must be gone at least 2 years from prior employment with the health system to be considered as traveler
• Local candidates not accepted within 75 miles of the facility
• Facility can auto-approve up to 7 days of RTO
