Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 12-week assignment in North Bergen, NJ. The role requires 1 year of CT experience with ARRT (CT) and BLS certification and state licensing where applicable.

Responsibilities include performing CT imaging, administering contrast, and ensuring patient safety. The position offers 40 hours per week, night shifts, and travel compensation through TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of CT experience.
• ARRT (CT) certification and BLS required.
• State licensing may be required depending on location.
• CT tech should be able to stand for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients.
• Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
• Capture diagnostic CT images using CT equipment.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed to enhance visibility.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow radiation safety procedures.
