Job summary

Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in North Bergen, New Jersey. The CT Technologist will perform complex CT procedures, produce images for interpretation, and assist with interventional procedures while adhering to safety and clinical protocols.

The role requires ARRT certification, NJ license, BLS, and CT experience with PACS proficiency; travel housing and benefits are provided. Schedule includes nights with 40 hours per week and on-call as needed.

Qualifications

Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program, NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License, ARRT R.T.(R) license, and BLS certification.
Six months CT experience preferred.
Knowledge of anatomy, radiological positioning, CT software/hardware, and PACS.

Responsibilities

Perform complex CT procedures and review patient history.
Prepare and screen patients, verify prescriptions, and coordinate with physicians.
Administer contrast and monitor patients during procedures.
Operate imaging equipment, evaluate radiographs, and ensure proper prep.
Perform venipuncture, IV maintenance, and ensure patient safety during scans.
Document procedures and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
Overtime and on-call may be required; lift as needed.
Communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
