Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract opportunity in Washington, DC. The role requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, and a 13-week duration with potential to extend.

The CT Technologist will perform imaging, maintain safety, and support radiology services on a travel assignment. Required qualifications include ARRT Radiography and CT certifications, BLS, 1–2 years radiology experience, and a Radiologic Technology degree.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; CT imaging experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
