Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract assignment in Scranton, PA. This role is a 13-week travel position with a 40-hour week and nights on a 10-hour shift, offering exposure to advanced CT imaging in a hospital setting.

You will use CT equipment, ensure patient safety, explain procedures, and evaluate image quality while collaborating with hospital staff. ARRT certification and BLS are required, with CT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
