Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract opportunity in Scranton, Pennsylvania. You will operate CT equipment, perform imaging procedures, and ensure patient safety on a 40-hour work week.

The position requires ARRT certification (CT preferred), a radiologic technology degree, and an active license. BLS is required, ACLS preferred, with travel assignment lasting 13 weeks and possibility to extend.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography; CT preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Capture diagnostic CT images using CT equipment.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and address questions.
• Maintain radiation safety and patient comfort during procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for image quality and accuracy.

Education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology

ARRT certification (Radiography; CT preferred)

Active state radiologic technologist license

BLS certification (ACLS preferred)

1–2 years radiologic technologist experience; CT experience preferred

Anatomy, physiology and CT imaging knowledge
