Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in New Orleans, LA. The traveler will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, and work closely with radiologists to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of CT experience, a valid radiology license, and BLS certification. ARRT certification is preferred, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits for travel professionals.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
• Current ARRT Certification (preferred)
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes
• Prepare patients for procedures and position them safely
• Set technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment
• Document patient information and imaging parameters in the hospital system
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities
• Perform other duties as assigned within CT Tech practice
