Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in New Orleans, Louisiana. The position offers a 13-week contract with a 36-hour workweek and night shifts, with potential to extend.

Requirements include ARRT (R) certification (CT preferred), active state license, BLS, and 1–2 years CT imaging experience. Compensation is weekly with a tax-free stipend and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
