Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in New Orleans, Louisiana. The role demands 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts as a travel position.

Qualifications

• 1 year CT experience required.
• ARRT (CT) certification and BLS.
• State licensing as required by location.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient information and imaging requests, explain procedures and provide reassurance.
• Interpret physician instructions accurately.
• Position patients for CT exams to target anatomical areas.
• Operate CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed to enhance visualization.
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality and diagnostic adequacy.
• Follow radiation safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain accurate patient records and labeling.
• Familiarity with the McKesson PACS system is preferred.
