Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Float CT Technologist to operate scanners for diagnostic imaging. This full-time multimodality role travels to multiple metro centers and covers CT, X-ray and injections with a 8:00am-4:30pm/8:30am-5:00pm schedule and weekend rotation. Training in CT is available, and there is no on-call requirement.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
Current CPR certification.
Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

Screens patient before exam using two identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
Explains and prepares patients for scanning imaging procedures and positioning.
Performs routine and advanced scanning imaging procedures with minimal supervision.
Adjusts scanning parameters and uses dose reduction techniques as appropriate.
Follows physicians' orders, maintains RIS records, and adheres to safety regulations.
Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
Keeps a clean, safe work area for patients and staff.
