Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Melrose, MA. The successful candidate will operate CT equipment, prepare and position patients, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CT Technologist experience.
• Valid Radiology license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position them.
• Set technical parameters to adequately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging parameters in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within CT Tech scope.
