Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Jamaica Plain, MA. This role offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts, and the opportunity to work within a supportive clinical team.

The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, ensure image quality and safety, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver timely diagnostic services. One year of CT experience and a radiology license are required; ARRT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of CT Technologist experience.
• Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ARRT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients accordingly.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to ensure accurate anatomy display.
• Provide high-quality images to radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging details in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services.
