Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT (R) certification to perform CT studies across diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.

Requirements include BLS, a CA CRT with Fluoroscopy permit within 180 days, venipuncture certification, and an Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent. Shift options include 4x10 evenings or nights, with potential for days and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CT Technologist experience required.
• ARRT R certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• CA CRT with Fluoroscopy permit within 180 days of hire.
• Venipuncture certification required.
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences or approved school graduation required.
• Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Proficiency with cross-sectional anatomy and multiple systems.
• Acute care facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT examinations and assists with CT-guided procedures.
• Works with adult, pediatric, adolescent, neonatal, and geriatric patients.
• Uses GE imaging equipment and PACS for image transmission and archiving.
• Performs venipuncture and administers contrast media and adjunct medications.
• Documents care in the EHR and coordinates exam protocols.
• Assesses patients for safety and cooperation prior to exams.
• Educates patients and answers questions before exam.
• Ensures accurate charge capture and regulatory compliance.
