Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of clinical CT imaging experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification for a Magnet-designated teaching hospital.

The role features day shifts on a 4x10 schedule with no regular call; some weekend coverage may be required. Candidates must live outside a 50‑mile radius of the facility.

Experience with contrast media, IV starts, ROI/MRP knowledge, and Epic charting is preferred. Travel, licensure reimbursements, and housing are included.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical CT imaging experience required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology required
• State of Wisconsin Radiographer License required if applicable
• ARRT Registries in Radiography (R) and CT required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Level I and Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
• Abdomen/pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine, and vascular CT imaging experience preferred
• Contrast media preparation and administration, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture experience preferred
• Knowledge of multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and ROI measurement preferred

Responsibilities

• Day shift, 4x10 hour schedule, Monday through Friday with variable start time (0800)
• No call requirements, though weekend shifts may be needed
• Uses GE CT equipment and PACS imaging system
• Epic charting system experience required
• May float as needed
• Perform CT imaging across adult and pediatric populations in acute care, outpatient, ICU, and emergency department settings
• Facility is Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center
• Must pass required testing with strict criteria prior to start
• Candidates must live outside a 50‑mile radius from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered
