Job summary

TotalMed Allied has an immediate travel CT Technologist opening in Washington, DC. The position is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, featuring 12-hour night shifts. A 1-year CT experience requirement, BLS, and ARRT CT certification are needed, with licensing where required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests.
• Explain procedures and provide reassurance to patients.
• Position patients for scans to target specific body areas.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Evaluate image quality for technical adequacy.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain patient records and document findings.
• Understand and use the PACS system.
