American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week teaching hospital assignment requiring at least 2 years of current CT experience and ARRT (CT) certification.

Details

Radiology department at a 298-bed teaching hospital
Position covers both CT scan and X-ray diagnostic imaging duties
8-hour afternoon shift, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM, 40 hours/week
Weekend work TBD; holiday coverage required if needed
On-call requirements possible
Uses PACS, HIS, RIS, CR, DR, and CT computer systems
Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred

Additional Information

Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and critical thinking
Perform primary diagnostic radiology and CT scan tasks including IV insertion and injections
May be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, Operations Manager, or Facility Director
May supervise or instruct department personnel as determined by Manager or Director
Excellent written, verbal, and Tiger Text communication skills required
Practice infection control in compliance with departmental, hospital, and OSHA standards
Complete annual mandatory education including bloodborne pathogens and infection control
Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted, and must be submitted prior to offer
