Job summary

American Traveler seeks a CT & X-Ray Technologist with active CT registration and ARRT(CT) certification for a 13-week assignment in Colorado. The role requires 3 years of experience, BLS, and a current state license where applicable.

You will perform CT and X-ray examinations, prepare patients, manage rooms, and ensure image quality. Excellent communication and confidentiality are essential, with weekend night shifts 7:00 PM–7:00 AM and no call.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic imaging department performing CT and X-Ray examinations.

• Adapt to emergency situations and changing work conditions.

American Traveler is hiring a CT & X-Ray Technologist requiring active CT registration and ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certification for a 13-week assignment.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Must hold active state license (license required if applicable)
• Must be currently registered in CT
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program with ARRT registry
• Ability to lift and move patients and maneuver equipment weighing 20 pounds or more
• Manual dexterity to operate imaging equipment
• Visual and hearing acuity required for patient monitoring and communication

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic imaging department performing CT and X-Ray examinations
• Weekend night shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• No call requirements
• 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours
• Perform CT and X-Ray examinations using proper technical factors and evaluate images for accurate exposure and positioning
• Schedule exams and instruct patients on exam preparation
• Set up and organize rooms for radiographic procedures
• Reports directly to the Imaging Services Manager
• Requires independent judgment and technical skill to produce diagnostic-quality radiography
• Must maintain patient confidentiality and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
• Ability to adapt to emergency situations and changing work conditions
• Role involves periods of stooping, standing, bending, and moderate lifting
