Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Lawton, OK. The role requires ARRT certification and a minimum of 2 years CT experience, with licensure as applicable. You will schedule 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM shifts, provide patient prep, and operate CT equipment.

As part of a regional center, you’ll ensure image quality, follow radiation safety protocols, and collaborate with radiologists. Travel benefits and housing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years CT Tech experience.
• ARRT certification is required.
• License may be required depending on state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Night shift: 3x10 hour shifts 7:00 PM–8:00 AM Thu–Sat.
• Includes weekend coverage.
• Prepare patients for exams, obtain histories, and monitor during scans.
• Set up/operate CT scanners and optimize image quality.
• Administer contrast intravenously or orally.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and shielding use.
• Collaborate with radiologists to confirm image quality and assist in emergencies.
• No more than 5 days of RTO.
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at reduced rate.
• Former direct employees may not rejoin via agency for 6 months.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Night shift, 3x10 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM, Thursday through Saturday
• Includes weekend coverage
• 265-bed regional referral center providing services across virtually every medical specialty
• Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, take medical histories, and monitor patients during scans
• Set up and operate CT scanners, maneuvering equipment and adjusting technical parameters for optimal image quality
• Administer contrast dye intravenously or orally to enhance imaging visualization
• Follow strict radiation safety protocols including use of shielding devices
• Collaborate closely with radiologists to confirm image quality and assist in emergency and trauma situations
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
• Former direct employees of the facility are not eligible to return through an agency until 6 months after their direct employment ended
