Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an acute care CT/X-Ray department requiring ARRT registration and 2+ years of experience in x-ray and CT modalities.

The role includes a 7 on/7 off schedule with nights from 8pm to 7am on weekdays and 7pm to 7am on weekends, using EPIC EMR, Sectra PACS, and GE imaging equipment. North Dakota licensure is required or must be obtained prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in x-ray and CT modalities.
• ARRT RT(R) registration required.
• BLS certification required.
• North Dakota state licensure required, or must be obtained prior to employment.
• Experience with EPIC EMR.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray and CT radiographic procedures in acute care CT/X-Ray unit.
• May float between X-ray and CT departments.
• Use EPIC EMR, Sectra PACS, and GE equipment for imaging.
• 7 on 7 off schedule, nights 8pm–7am on weekdays and 7pm–7am on weekends.
• Provide patient care with professional judgment throughout procedures.

Job description

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Acute care setting within the CT/X-Ray unit
• Facility has 25 beds
• Performs both x-ray and CT radiographic procedures
• Uses EPIC EMR, Sectra PACS, and GE x-ray and CT equipment
• 7 on 7 off schedule, nights from 8pm to 7am on weekdays and 7pm to 7am on weekends
• Shift rotation results in 36 hours one week and 44 hours the next, totaling 80 hours per 2-week period
• May float between X-ray and CT departments
• Applies x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis and treatment, producing images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner
• Exercises professional judgment and provides appropriate patient care throughout procedures
• Scrubs required for dress code
• Hospital and department-specific orientation provided
• Local candidates accepted
• Previous employment at this facility must be disclosed for consideration
