Job summary

Newsandtribune is seeking a Dual-Modality Radiology Technologist (X-Ray/CT) for outpatient and inpatient imaging in Montana.

Requires ARRT(CT) certification, BLS, CAHEA radiology program, 2+ years radiology experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and Montana licensure if applicable. You will work in a busy clinic with an 8 on 6 off schedule, 08:00-18:00, with potential weekends and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of radiology experience.
• Graduate of CAHEA-accredited Radiology program or equivalent with CT competencies.
• Montana Radiologic Technologist license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Urgent care clinic setting supporting outpatient and inpatient imaging.
• Performs CT and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams and procedures.
• 8 on 6 off schedule, 08:00-18:00.
• Variable schedule that may include weekends and after-hours shifts.
• On-call responsibilities may be required.
• Independently performs CT and X-Ray procedures with limited supervision to produce images for practitioner interpretation.
• Assists medical staff in other departments during exams and procedures as needed.
• Completes documentation for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
• Retrieves written orders and health information to ensure timely completion and reporting of exams.
• Works in a busy, fast-paced clinical environment requiring sound judgment and professionalism.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT(CT) advanced certification required
• Montana Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of previous radiology experience
• Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited Radiology program or equivalent, with documented competencies in Radiology and CT
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Must be able to stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach above shoulder level repeatedly throughout shifts
