Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract opportunity in Brooklyn, New York. The role involves CT imaging, patient interaction, and adherence to safety protocols within a hospital setting.

Requirements include an ARRT radiography certification, CA license if applicable, BLS (ACLS preferred), and 1–2 years of radiologic experience with CT imaging. This 8-week travel assignment offers 40 hours per week on nights with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; CT imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Capture diagnostic CT images using CT equipment.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and obtain cooperation.
• Maintain radiation safety and protection for patients.
• Evaluate CT scans for image quality and accuracy.
