Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week contract in Birmingham, Alabama. Candidates will engage in capturing diagnostic images and ensuring patient safety and comfort during scanning procedures. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology and ARRT certification required.

Earn between $2,398 and $2,592 per week, participate in a full benefits program including health insurance, and enjoy support for continued education. Shifts are 8 hours, with PM options available.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably in CT.
• Active knowledge of anatomy and physiology essential.

Job Overview

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week contract in Birmingham, Alabama. The position begins ASAP, with 40 hours per week (8‑hour shifts).

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Contract Details

• $2,398 - $2,592 per week.*
• 13‑week contract with possibility to extend.
• PM shifts available.
• 40 hrs per week.
