Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Albany, New York. The role involves performing CT imaging, ensuring patient safety, and providing clear explanations of procedures within a 13-week contract.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT radiography certification (CT preferred), 1–2 years radiology experience, and an active radiologic license. BLS is required, ACLS preferred, with 36 hours weekly shifts and 12-hour days.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
