American Traveler is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Position requires at least 2 years of hospital CT experience with Siemens equipment and ARRT CT/R certifications. EPIC EMR proficiency and strong radiation safety practices are essential. The 13-week assignment offers 37.5 hours per week, day shifts, and a magnet-designated teaching hospital setting.

• Maintain patient safety and quality standards during imaging studies.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of hospital-based CT experience and Siemens equipment experience for a Magnet-designated teaching hospital.

Details

• Magnet-designated teaching hospital with 186 staffed beds
• Day shift schedule of 5x7.5 hours, Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday 9:00 AM-10:00 PM
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hospital-based CT experience required (1.5 years accepted for Level I trauma or travel experience)
• ARRT(CT) and ARRT(R) certifications required
• CT license required if applicable
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Experience with image display and post-processing, 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
• Experience performing abdomen and pelvis CT studies with and without contrast
• Experience with head and neck CT including carotid, sinus, and trauma head studies
• Experience with spine and musculoskeletal CT including cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and trauma imaging
• Experience with chest CT including cardiac and vascular studies
• Proficiency in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Level I/II trauma experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• 1 professional reference required

Additional Information

• Perform a wide range of CT procedures across adult acute care, outpatient, ED, and ICU settings
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required with exemptions for religious or medical reasons only
• Local candidates not accepted if residing within 75 miles of the facility
• Returning staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be eligible as a traveler
• Facility can auto-approve up to 7 days of requested time off
