Description

• Inpatient CT Scan department supporting ER, inpatient, and outpatient throughput
• Schedule is Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• 3 call days required monthly
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• May be required to float to the needs of the organization up to competency level
• Uses Epic for charting; training provided during orientation or candidates may test out

Requirements

• ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certification required
• State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography required (license required if applicable)
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum two years of clinical experience in CT required
• Trauma experience required
• Must be able to care for neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

Additional Information

• Produces diagnostic CT scans and assists radiologists with CT procedures
• Administers IV contrast materials under radiologist direction
• Operates in-house CT scanning and contrast injecting equipment
• Supports advanced imaging for trauma, stroke, and code aorta cases
• Coordinates daily workflow and QC monitoring within the CT department
• May be required to work major holidays, with a minimum of 2 major holidays required
• May be asked to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
• Facility may cancel shifts for low census with 48 hours notice, which may be full or partial shifts
• Candidates must live outside a 60-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• A minimum of one recent 13-week travel assignment within the past year is required prior to consideration
• Returning travelers must have a 13-week break after ending a prior contract
• Requested RTO must be included at time of consideration
