Qualifications

• ARRT registration as RT(R) or RT(R) CT is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• State radiologic technologist license in CA is required.
• Advanced CT certification is required (OR and HI); CA preferred.
• Fluoroscopy license is required if operating fluoroscopy equipment in CA.
• Venipuncture certification is required if administering contrast in CA.
• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in CT/radiology is required.

Responsabilités

• Perform CT, fluoroscopy and general radiography procedures in the CT unit.
• Care for patients from adolescent to geriatric populations.
• Produce reformatted sagittal and coronal images for radiologist interpretation.
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images as needed.
• Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality regulations; maintain accurate records.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT registration in Radiography and CT to perform computed tomography and general radiography procedures.

Details

• Work in the CT Scan unit performing computed tomography, general radiography, and fluoroscopy procedures
• Care for patients ranging from adolescent through geriatric populations
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to appropriate locations
• Variable shift schedule with start times including 6:30 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, 3:00 PM, 10:00 PM, and 11:00 PM

Requirements

• ARRT registration as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Radiologic Technologist license required in state of practice (required in CA)
• Advanced CT certification required in OR and HI; preferred in CA
• Fluoroscopy license required if operating fluoroscopy equipment (CA)
• Venipuncture certification required if administering contrast materials (CA)
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty required
• License required if applicable

• Perform routine maintenance, calibration of equipment, and manage supply inventory
