Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Current California Radiologic Technologist license required.
• ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) certification required.
• Additional ARRT certification required in CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, or Sonography.
• Fluoroscopy certification required.
• IV certification required or willingness to obtain.
• CT and X-ray skillset preferred; X-ray techs without CT experience will be considered.
• Must be able to perform at least three imaging modalities competently.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic, mammographic, CT, and/or ultrasound examinations based on experience.
• Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs.
• Test defibrillator and check integrity of crash cart.
• Perform mobile imaging examinations as necessary.
• Safely prepare contrast agents for imaging procedures.

Details

• Diagnostic Radiology unit within an acute care hospital
• 4x10 variable day shifts, Friday through Monday, starting 10am Friday-Sunday and 8am Mondays
• On-call required 2-4 nights per week during workdays from 2030 to 0400
• Schedule subject to change based on facility needs
• Utilizes a Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner
• EPIC EMR experience required

• 122-bed acute care hospital offering emergency medicine, orthopedics, obstetrics, digestive disorders, wound care, and various medical, surgical, and outpatient services
• Perform radiographic, mammographic, CT, and/or ultrasound examinations based on experience
• Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs
• Test defibrillator and check integrity of crash cart
• Perform mobile imaging examinations as necessary
• Safely prepare contrast agents for imaging procedures
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will be automatically declined
• No radius rule applies; local candidates receive the same rate as travel candidates
• Travelers may only be submitted to one hospital within the Adventist Health system at a time
