Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of acute care experience to perform X-rays and CT scans, including rotating weekend coverage.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within the CT Tech unit
• Performs X-rays and CT scans across adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department settings
• Utilizes GE CT equipment and PACS for imaging
• Epic EMR experience required
• 5x8-hour day shifts, either 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 9:30 AM-6:00 PM
• Rotating weekend shifts required

Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• CRT and Radiology Fluoroscopy (CRT Fluoro) license required if applicable
• Valid CA state license required
• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience in an acute care setting required
• Proficiency with contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, IV starts, and venipuncture
• Experience with image display and post-processing techniques such as 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement preferred

Additional Information

• Performs a range of CT studies including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging
• Experience with specialized procedures such as coronary CTA, vascular CTA, biopsies, and CT arthrography is a plus
• Local candidates accepted at the local rate within a 50-mile radius
• Returning travelers must have a 1-year separation before reapplying
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
• Observed holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
• Two supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
