Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Macon, Georgia. The role offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and employment as a travel assignment with potential extension.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited Radiologic Technology degree, ARRT certification in Radiography (CT preferred), an active state license if applicable, and BLS certification. CT imaging experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Radiologic technology degree from an accredited program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography; CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license if applicable.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years experience as Radiologic Technologist; CT imaging experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT protocols.

Responsibilities

• Capture diagnostic CT images using CT equipment.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment for patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and radiation protection.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details

• $2,352 - $2,527 per week*
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• AM shifts available
• 40 hrs/wk

Duties will include, but are not limited to

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
