Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The position offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts at a partnering hospital, with a focus on diagnostic CT imaging and patient safety.

Qualified candidates will hold an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT (R) and preferably ARRT (CT) certification, and an active state license. BLS is required; ACLS preferred. Travel experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (R) certification; ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; prior CT imaging helpful.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details:

• $2,018 - $2,223 per week*
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• NOC shifts available
• 36 hrs/wk

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
