Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in San Antonio, Texas. The role involves 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week contract with possible extension, serving at a partner hospital.

The ideal candidate holds an radiologic technology degree, ARRT (R) certification, CT certification preferred, and a valid state license where required. BLS is mandatory, ACLS preferred, with 1–2 years CT imaging experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred

CT Tech Contract Details:

• $1,793 - $1,994 per week*
• 13‑week contract with possibility to extend
• NOC shifts available
• 36 hrs/wk

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
