Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The role is 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts on a travel contract, starting ASAP.

You’ll work at a partnering hospital, perform CT imaging, and ensure patient safety and comfort while maintaining high-quality scans. ARRT certifications are required or CT certification preferred, with 1–2 years of radiologic experience recommended.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography; CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of radiologic technologist experience; CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Capture diagnostic CT images using CT equipment.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure radiation safety and patient comfort.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details

• $2,006 - $2,199 per week*
• 26-week contract with possibility to extend
• AM shifts available
• 40 hrs/wk

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
