Job summary

Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. The selected candidate will perform CT procedures and patient care under a Radiologist, with emphasis on trauma, stroke, CTA and perfusion in a high‑energy ED setting.

Requirements include ARRT CT certification, Missouri license, 1–2+ years ED experience, strong communication, and ability to work nights on 12‑hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (CT) registry and Missouri Radiologic Technologist License required.
• 1–2+ years in ED, trauma, stroke, CT angiography and perfusion.
• Strong communication and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand/walk continually and transfer patients.

Responsibilities

• Under the Radiologist, perform CT procedures with independent judgement.
• Obtain optimal image quality while ensuring patient welfare.
• Modify technical factors to produce best CT scans.
• Ensure confidentiality and comfort of patients.
• Work on GE Revolution and Siemens CT scanners.

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs CT procedures and patient care requiring independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative for obtaining optimal image quality and exceptional service. Has responsibility for all aspects of CT Imaging procedures requiring sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology; with independent selection and modification of technical factors to produce optimum CT scans, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority. Performs all duties and responsibilities consistent with Mercy s mission, vision and values.
Education: Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology Certification/Registration: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). ARRT(CT) registry Licensure: Missouri Radiologic Technologist License Other: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Basic computer knowledge. Working conditions, mental and physical requirements: This individual must be capable of: manipulating patient transfer equipment; lifting, moving and transporting patients continual standing and walking; recognizing emergency situations; adapting to fast pace daily work load; communicating effectively. Able to work on GE Revolution (256 slices) newest platform and Siemens CT scanners, CTA and Perfusion knowledge preferred
