Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 16-week assignment in Charlottesville, VA. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT (CT) certification with registration, BLS, and state licensing where required. You will operate CT equipment and prepare patients for scans, ensuring accurate images for physicians.

Work 40 hours weekly on 10-hour day shifts. This travel assignment offers a tax-free stipend and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of CT experience.
• Must have BLS, ARRT (CT) certification with registration, and state licensing when required.
• CT Techs should be able to stand/walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity, review imaging requests and explain procedures.
• Position patients to scan specific body areas and capture diagnostic CT images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and maintain accurate records.
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation and use McKesson PACS.
