Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Charlottesville, VA. The role carries a 13-week duration with 40 hours per week and a 10-hour daytime shift. Travel positions require ARRT CT certification, BLS, and state licensure where applicable.

The CT Tech will perform CT imaging, prepare patients, and ensure accurate image delivery to physicians. Prior imaging experience and knowledge of anatomy and safety protocols are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of CT experience.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT (CT) certification with registration.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests, explaining procedures to patients.
• Interpret doctors' instructions and position patients for scans.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility.
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality and safety with radiation procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS systems.
