Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Lexington, KY seeks a travel CT Technologist for a 14-week assignment. The candidate must have 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification with registration, BLS, and applicable state licensure where required.

The CT Tech will operate CT equipment, ensure image quality, and prepare patients for scanning while supporting physicians with accurate results. Travel position offers weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) certification with registration
• State licensure if required

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients; provide reassurance.
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions.
• Position patients to scan targeted body areas.
• Operate CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use McKesson PACS system for image management.
