Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Anniston, Alabama. The role requires 18 months of CT experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and licensure as required by state law.

You will work a 12-hour shift, about 36 hours per week, for a 13-week contract with travel accommodations provided. The position offers weekly pay, housing options or allowances, health and life insurance, and a range of credentials support.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
• Most states require licensure
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using proper immobilization and protection
• Set controls and monitor equipment, adjust as needed
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and IVs
• Dispense oral contrast when needed
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures
• Evaluate CT images for quality and label appropriately
• Schedule procedures and perform some clerical tasks
• Charge procedures to patient records
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media
• Deliver professional, cost-effective patient care
• Maintain a safe, patient-focused environment
